At JA of Northern Indiana, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

JA BizTown® Homeschool Day 2
When: Tuesday, April 08, 2025JA BizTown is a site-based, elementary school program. It combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to JA BizTown. It is a fully interactive, true-to-life, simulated town where students learn the fundamental relationship between academics and life beyond school.

When: Saturday, July 12, 2025The Junior Achievement Young Entrepreneur Marketplace is the ultimate chance for entrepreneurs up to 21 years old (and college students) to sell their products, in person, to the public. This one-day outdoor event is open to youth with an existing or new business.

When: Tuesday, September 09, 2025To recognize leadership and dedication to entrepreneurship, each year Junior Achievement's BEL (Business, Education, and Leadership) Awards event honors business leaders. These men and women are creating jobs, encouraging employee growth and shaping the successful companies that are essential to a community's economy.

JA JobSpark Career Expo
When: Tuesday, November 04, 2025 - Wednesday, November 05, 2025Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana hosts a two-day interactive career expo for 8th grade students in northeast Indiana during the fall. This event is meant to "spark" an interest in students and get them excited for their future.

Allen County Play4JA - Trades Day
When: Thursday, March 20, 2025Teams of 4-5 people fundraise or are sponsored by their company to fund Junior Achievement programming through bowling! Top fundraisers and big scorers win prizes. Play4JA aims to raise $60,000 from participants across northeast Indiana and funds go to give students in our region JA programs. This is also meant to be a fun teambuilding event for you.

JA JobSpark Virtual
When: Tuesday, March 04, 2025The spring JA JobSpark Virtual Career Expo brings schools and industry professionals together through a fun, engaging, and interactive experience to inspire and educate young people regarding future career opportunities. Prior to the event, students participate in three short sessions that explore education and career pathways and prepare students for the virtual event.

Write-A-Will
When: Thursday, October 24, 2024Junior Achievement of Northern IN is participating in the Write a Will Week (hosted by Charitable Gift Planners of NE IN), a community-wide initiative to promote the importance of having a will and encouraging charitable giving in the form of a bequest. During this week, local attorneys partner with non-profits to volunteer their time, preparing simple wills for participants at no charge when at least one gift is left to charity in the will.
