JA Young Entrepreneur Summer Camp
JA Young Entrepreneur Summer Camp is an immersive, hands-on summer experience designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and introduce students to the exciting world of entrepreneurship. Throughout this dynamic weeklong camp, students learn how ideas become businesses by exploring innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership in a fun, supportive environment.
Open to Greater Fort Wayne students going into the 6th - 8th grade, campers engage in interactive activities that challenge them to think critically and creatively such as:
- Designing escape room puzzles
- Solving real-world business problems
- Collaborating with peers to develop original business ideas.
Students hear directly from local entrepreneurs who share their personal journeys, offering insight into risk-taking, perseverance, marketing, and what it truly takes to run a successful business.
The camp experience exposes students to creative industries, teamwork-based challenges, and community-focused organizations. As the week progresses, campers refine their ideas and prepare to pitch their own business concepts during a "Shark Tank"–style presentation, building communication skills and confidence along the way.
JA Young Entrepreneur Summer Camp empowers students to think big, take initiative, and see themselves as future leaders, innovators, and changemakers long after summer ends.
