Volunteer at Lincoln Finance Park

Get ready to make an impact.

Junior Achievement Finance Park is one of Junior Achievement’s capstone experiences for middle and high school students, and volunteers help students bring their financial future into focus.

You do not need to be an expert in personal finance, careers, or budgeting. You simply need to show up ready to encourage students, ask good questions, help them think through their choices, and remind them that they are capable of building the life they want.

During JA Finance Park, students step into an adult life scenario and make real-world decisions about careers, income, housing, transportation, savings, spending, and more. With your support, they practice budgeting, decision-making, problem-solving, and planning for the future in a hands-on financial simulation.

Register to volunteer

Signing up is simple and only takes a few steps.

4. Log in or create your account on VolunteerHub

Volunteering with a specific school: Many schools recruit volunteers for their own JA Finance Park visit. If you are volunteering with a specific school, please contact the school for the unique registration link for your visit.

This helps make sure you are connected to the correct school, date, and simulation. Your school may also have separate background check requirements. Please contact your school directly with any questions about district-specific requirements.

Community volunteers: Want to sign up for an open volunteer opportunity? Use the button below to view JA Finance Park opportunities available to community volunteers.

5. E-sign the JA Volunteer Policy Agreement
This agreement is required to be signed annually for all JA volunteers and is completed through VolunteerHub when you log in or create your account.

6. Select your event
Once your Volunteer Policy Agreement is complete, you will be able to choose the JA Finance Park simulation you would like to attend and complete your registration.

A confirmation email is sent once your registration has been completed. Be sure to read this email as it will contain important details about your volunteer experience.

What to Expect Onsite

Please plan to arrive 30-minutes hour before students. When you arrive, you will:
• Complete volunteer check-in
- Check-in is quick and easy for those that pre-registered online
- Those that need to register onsite will want to plan to allow a bit of extra time to complete the required paperwork
• Attend a brief orientation to understand your role during the simulation
• Meet your JA staff member and have time to ask questions before students arrive

Throughout the day, JA staff will be nearby to answer questions, help with transitions, and support you and the students.

Thank you for volunteering at JA Finance Park. We can’t wait for you to be here!
