The Development Manager is responsible for leading fundraising campaigns and overseeing the annual Purseology event in Allen County. This full-time position ensures exceptional service to Junior Achievement (JA) supporters while achieving organizational fundraising goals.

The Development Manager is responsible for leading fundraising campaigns and overseeing the annual Purseology event in Allen County. This full-time position ensures exceptional service to Junior Achievement (JA) supporters while achieving organizational fundraising goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead fundraising efforts and manage the annual Purseology event, including the online auction, sponsorships, and all event execution.
o Develop, implement, and confirm event sponsorships and ticket sales.
o Responsible for meeting or exceeding the fundraising goals outlined in the event budget.
o Recruit and manage the event committee, including planning and facilitating meetings.
o Oversee event expenses to align with budget and maximize net revenue.
o Coordinate all event logistics to ensure smooth execution.
o Provide event-related training for staff as needed.
o Steward and cultivate relationships with committee members, donors, and event attendees to encourage ongoing engagement beyond the event.
